ADDITIVE MASTER LUNA is a CAM software dedicated to additive manufacturing, offering path generation, simulation, and easy parameter reuse through a CAD/CAM-style interface. It goes beyond basic slicing with advanced methods for solids, surfaces, and primitives. The spine-slice function controls bead height by adjusting sweep speed, optimized for AM. LUNA supports simultaneous 4- and 5-axis DED processing. It auto-generates build paths with machining allowances and solidifies theoretical volumes to pass to Mastercam, allowing optimized subtractive toolpaths. Real-time simulation helps prevent errors and improve precision. Hybrid processing minimizes material waste, enhances design freedom, and ensures accurate finishing.
