PR message We propose cemented carbide that can extend the life of dies and tools.
R type is effective for improving the life.
The R type has been highly evaluated in various fields such as cold forging, precision progressive press dies, motor core dies, etc., and there are many examples of life improvement.

The Main Item

Cemented carbide / Tungsten carbide "R-type"
The name of Item[1] Corrosion-resistant cemented carbide (R type)
Details[1]

Our R type is the materials which strengthened the binder phase.
The matrix hardness becomes higher by strengthening a Cobalt phase, and wear resistance and particle holding force are improved.
Furthermore, corrosion resistance and heat resistance improve in comparison with general cemented carbide.
And less the generation of electric corrosion and the affected layer with the underwater wire cut.
Among them, TFR type is suitable for workpiece materials that tend to adhere, such as aluminum, copper, stainless steel, and soft iron.
This time, a new binder-less carbide grade (KSB10) has been added.
We have also developed many grades of non-magnetic cemented carbide, for which demand has been increasing in recent years, to meet a variety of uses.
R type has been highly evaluated in various fields such as cold forging, punching, bending and drawing of precision progressive press dies, motor core dies, resin dies, etc., and it is said that the life of dies and jigs has been extended.
