Details[1] | Reduction gears require weight-saving and high-efficiency structure. SYVEC aimed to reduce the cost of cycloid geared reduction unit, and developed our ultra-precision cold forging technology to form cycloid gears from thick sheet metal by stamping. We can count following four points as merit of forming cycloid gears by stamping. 1.Flexible Figure (Since the shape is formed by tooling, the gears can be free curve.) 2.Forming of Complex 3D Shape (Material thickness can be changed differently within one part in forging process.) 3.Weight-saving (SYVEC can make each part smaller so that the whole unit can be lighter.) 4.High-Productivity and Low Initial Investment (The productivity is very high compare to machining, and the initial investment can be smaller.) |

Details[2] | SYVEC stamps parts with tooling which was made 11mm-underground temperature-controlled factory(23±0.3℃). Profile accuracy of the tooling parts are under 1μm, and its surface roughness is Ra0.024μm. All CFP(Cold Forging Progressive) tooling parts are made in SYVEC’s plant so that we can assure required quality. The following three elements are essential for SYVEC’s precision stamping. 1. Die Design SYVEC fucuses pn stamping analysis. With forging, structural and intensity analysis, we infer if there are any possibilities to form. 2. Die Making Most of high spec machines that SYVEC possesses are the specially developed ones. The best quality tooling is made by these machines and operating know-how. Operators’ skill is also the essential element. 3. Environment What we built in order to achieve sub-micron accuracy is the Underground Factory. This plant is strictly controlled its room temperature and vibration since even little temperature change and vibration affect the precision. |
